I will give gun broker five stars,this time. Since they offer discounts for cash, I would urge them to make payment available through Zell or another digital cash option. Check and money orders are antiquated it's 2024 not 1994. Besides that I had a smooth experience the seller shipped in a great time frame.

Gunbroker presents MANY facets of our hobby in an easy to deal with format. Concise and to the point, all the information you need is included in each listing. I have yet to search for something that i didn't ultimately find. Gunbroker is my "go to" for guns, ammo, reloading accessories and components, etc.

I only buy now through local to me businesses and individuals. This cuts out shipping and ffl fees. Often you find what looks like a great deal but when you then add in tax, shipping and receiving ffl fee you are often not doing any better than going to a bricks and mortar store. Some of the shipping fees are outrageous.

The bidding process went good on the S&W 629 44 magnum revolver. I was looking to purchase one like the one on bid and I decided to bid on the revolver. It was a clean and honest bid session and I feel that Gunbroker did a professional job at handling it. I will keep my eye out for more products in the future.

Just after making a sale you required me to change my password WHILE LOGGED ON which required me to remember my old password, which I could not because my computer automatically logs me in without having to remember my password. This resulted in me being unable to login to again to complete the sale properly. Repeated "Forgotten Password" attempts were not working. Since then I have continued to submit more requests to change my password with NO response but that hasn't stopped you from emailing me with payment requests for fees and sales tax!

The product I received was not at all what the seller said it was. I contacted the seller before making the purchase and was told it was made of steel (what I was shopping for). When it arrived it was made of aluminum, in poor condition. I contacted the seller and informed them and the person responded with sarcastic answers and said just send it back, I’m not a metalologist or something to that effect. I told them I don’t trust that they would refund all expenses and I would find someone to take it off my hands. How this seller has zero negative feedback I don’t understand. Makes me doubt the legitimacy of the seller rating system. Not sure if I will use GunBroker again. Thanks for reading.

Overall, great experiences had on Gun Broker. Site does a wonderful job of categorizing items and fairly conducting auctions/bids. I do wish there was a membership option available that included discounts on ammo or an annual gun draw/raffle that would keep non-business owning customers coming back.

Gunbroker is still the best online auction sites. The ever increasing fees are making it a little less attractive... still good overall, but fees are close to eliminating a lot potential buyers. Too, some sellers are overpriced considering condition and shipping fees. I had to pay 20% more on top of the actual winning bid... definitely NOT good@!

FirearmLand was excellent The problem was the purchase through Gunbroker not having my FFL listed. I am a member of a large shooting club that is an FFL. I had to contact them with the order # and they contact Gunbroker. It took an extra day to make the purchase.
