Brian is Managing Director and Co-Head of Intrepid’s Food, Beverage & Agriculture (FBA) practice. Within the Food, Beverage & Agriculture industry, Brian advises clients within the consumer packaged goods, distribution, private label, ingredients, nutrition, and other key sectors of the industry. Since joining Intrepid in 2010, before focusing exclusively on the FBA sector, Brian has completed transactions across the consumer sector, including Toys & Giftware, Lifestyle Brands, and Beauty, Personal Care and Wellness.

In addition to his deal-related responsibilities, he continues to play a role in the recruiting efforts of the firm. In that capacity, he sets the tone for finding and identifying candidates who embody the Intrepid culture and tenacity.

Prior to joining Intrepid, Brian was a Syndication Officer at CapitalSource Finance, where he focused on underwriting and syndicating leverage finance transactions. While at CapitalSource, he syndicated more than 25 loans totaling a value of more than $1.8 billion to 90 unique investors. Brian started his career in investment banking as an Analyst at Mesirow Financial Investment Banking, focusing on merger and acquisition advisory and fairness/solvency opinions.

Brian is originally from the Chicago area but now calls Los Angeles home with his wife and three young children. Spending time with his family is Brian’s priority, along with making sure his kids are raised as fans of his alma mater, the University of Michigan. Go Blue!
