Meeting the climate challenge requires full participation of the global workforce. This was the message from yesterday's APEC CEO Summit in San Francisco, where our CEO, Ryan Roslansky, emphasized LinkedIn's commitment to advancing women in sustainable industries. The Women in the Sustainable Economy (WISE) Initiative, launched in partnership with Vice President Harris, is a significant step towards gender equality in key sectors that shape our planet's future.   At LinkedIn, we are proud to contribute to this transformative initiative by harnessing the power of our data to break new ground in the green economy. The Economic Graph, a living dataset updated millions of times each day, offers a window into labor market trends, and, crucially, highlights the persistent gender disparities in green skills and employment.   Our recent data paint a stark picture: women represent just one third of the global green workforce. What’s worse, this gap is widening.   This is a call to action. LinkedIn is responding by delivering data-driven insights to bridge this divide. We're collaborating with leaders in government and industry to ensure women have a seat at the table in green sectors.   Empowering women with the right skills and opportunities is essential for driving the sustainable economy forward, as well as for achieving gender equality. We're on a mission, and it's one we share with global leaders and the WISE initiative.   Let's make sure that when we talk about a green economy, it's one where women lead, innovate, and thrive.
