About Us
Materna Medical is a novel OBGYN platform company, defining a $6B market in the most common pelvic conditions women face.
Our first product, Milli, is a vaginal and pelvic floor dilator with adjustable, incremental sizing for women who are trying to achieve intimate health. Milli launched in 2019 with a direct-to-consumer sales approach through ecommerce and healthcare professional’s referrals.
Our second product, Materna Prep, is currently in clinical trials to see if we can help first-time moms achieve less pelvic muscle injuries and a shorter length of delivery during childbirth.
Milli Vaginal Dilator
The Milli Vaginal Dilator Milli is the first and only all-in-one expanding dilator used to gradually expand the vagina one millimeter at a time, without the discomfort and inconvenience of having to remove and reinsert differently-sized devices—helping address the vaginal tightness associated with vaginismus. Materna Prep
Materna’s second product, Materna Prep, is a clinical-stage OBGYN device aiming to reduce pelvic floor injuries during childbirth. 50% of women have incontinence and prolapse symptoms by age 55. Women who vaginally deliver are 9X more likely to have prolapse and incontinence.
