Cult Food Science (CULT) has selected Sydsel Africa as the first semi-finalist in its CULT PRIZE competition.

Lejjy Gafour, President of CULT sat down with Shoran Devi to discuss the news.

The CULT PRIZE is a global competition aimed at developing innovative research programs to advance the development of cellular agriculture with the most promising entries being seeded with initial growth capital.

Sydsel will focus on generating intellectual property around the production of integrated, next-generation, 3D scaffolding proteins.

CULT Food Science is an investment platform focused on lab-grown food that is advancing the development of novel technologies to provide a sustainable, environmental, and ethical solution to the global factory farming crisis. 

CULT Food Science Corp. (CULT) opened trading at C$0.325 per share.
