We partnered with WindowsWear for the fifth consecutive year to find the next generation of talent. As part of the 2024 WindowsWear Mentorship Program, college students participated in a design challenge, creating unique pop-up experiences and store activations. Congratulations to Morgan Rogers, Sharanya Saripalli and Christian Hooser, the Kate Spade 2024 WindowsWear competition winners!    First-place winners receive a paid summer internship, and second- and third-place winners are also taking home prizes. Thank you to all participants for your sharing your creative energy and inspiring ideas!

Joy is an intention, not a destination. The Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation x kate spade new york collection, created with Taraji P. Henson and our longtime partners at BLHF, is a daily reminder to seek joy. 100% of profits from this collection will go to BLHF and providing women and girls with access to mental health support. To celebrate the launch, we recently hosted an intimate event at our Broome Street store in New York where Taraji P. Henson and Tracie Jade Jenkins, Executive Director at BLHF held a powerful conversation with Taryn Bird, Executive Director of Kate Spade New York Social Impact, around women’s mental health, empowerment, and joy. They also stopped by our corporate offices to meet and speak with our teams. We are proud and honored to continue our partnership with BLHF in our collective efforts to empower women and girls by advocating for and investing in their mental health. We recently celebrated our first concept store in Malaysia at The Exchange TRX in Kuala Lumpur at a grand opening event with actor Force Jiratchapong. Inspired by the concept of a “great escape,” the redesigned store celebrates kate spade new york’s iconic DNA and offers customers an enhanced experience that nods to our brand’s unique approach to joy and femininity. The store’s environment highlights the warmth of an eclectic New York City apartment, adorned in wood tones, wall coverings, and gold accents, perfectly complementing our signature color palette. The concept store, a colorful and clever design, reflects our dedication to creating an inviting space for our community. We look forward to welcoming you in!

We believe in the collective voices and power of women. Our Social Impact Council is an inspiring group of female leaders working globally to promote mental health and empowerment for women and girls globally—and we’re so proud to welcome the newest member of the Council. Reshma Saujani is an activist, author and tireless champion of mothers and women. She is the founder of Girls Who Code, and founder and the founder and CEO of Moms First. On her activist agenda? Fighting for women’s and girls’ economic empowerment, closing the gender gap in the tech industry, and advocating for moms. We’re grateful to have her on our team as we continue to advocate for women’s mental health and empowerment.
