Benton has entered into two separate agreements to acquire a 100% interest in 6 strategic mineral licences encompassing 52 claim units that are adjacent to or within Benton's current claim block at the Great Burnt Copper-Gold Project. Portions of the newly acquired Property host interesting geophysical and geological targets that will be subject to investigation and exploration in the coming months. Benton receives more high-grade copper results from the Great Burnt Copper Deposit further delineating the high-grade copper core. Ongoing efforts and interpretation of the recently completed down-hole geophysical program have confirmed a highly conductive anomaly extending to the south and along strike from hole GB-24-34. This high-priority target has been selected for drilling in the next phase of the drill program. On receipt of all regulatory approvals, Benton will issue 15,755,334 units at a price of $0.15 per unit, for aggregate gross proceeds of $2,363,300. Benton received further high-grade #copper results which expand the Great Burnt Copper Deposit a further 50 m down plunge. GB-24-33 returned 2.26% Cu and 0.37% Zn over 20.92 m and GB-24-32 returned 3.10% Cu and 0.28% Zn over 11.29 m and will upgrade the resource in this area. GB-24-34 intersected 1.75% Cu and 0.81% Zn over 5.00 m, including 4.02% Cu and 1.68% Zn over 1.00 m. The ongoing down-hole geophysical program has identified that the massive sulphides associated with the deposit are highly conductive, and additional priority targets have been selected for drilling in the next phase. Benton has successfully completed its Phase 2 drill program - 15 holes for a total of 3,260 m - at its Great Burnt Project in #Newfoundland. Results for the initial drill holes are expected shortly. A Crone downhole pulse electro-magnetics survey is underway on 7 drill holes for targeting of massive sulphides near the main zone over a 300-400 m area. Phase 3 exploration program will begin in May-June and will include drilling, trenching, surface sampling, prospecting, structural mapping, as well as soil and rock geochemistry sampling. Benton has successfully expanded the Great Burnt deposit in south-central Newfoundland another 50 m down plunge and along strike to the south, continuing to demonstrate that the deposit is wide open for expansion. Multiple intersections of stringer, semi-massive and massive sulphides have been intersected from 0.5 m to 17.75 m, including a 4.1 m massive sulphide zone in hole GB-24-34 which is the deepest and most southern drill hole ever drilled in the deposit.
