Eagle Plains Resources has taken a long-term approach as an explorer in the mineral exploration industry and has operated for 30 years in Western Canada. In doing so, it has made deals on many mineral exploration properties over the years which has resulted in acquiring a healthy portfolio of not just exploration properties but also royalties on exploration projects that are now operated by other companies. One of these areas where Eagle Plains has several net smelter royalties (NSR’s) in the Keno Hill district of the Yukon Territory, in particular, on parts of Banyan Gold Corp’s AurMac property located 56km northeast of the village of Mayo. In June 2022, Banyan Gold announced an inferred resource on the AurMac property of 3.99 million ounces of gold. This announcement also included plans to continue to carry on with a considerable exploration program in 2022 of 60,000m drilling at the AurMac property.
