- Reviewed in the United States on March 13, 2022Below is what I wrote the author of the book:
Dear Mr. Sternberg,
Yesterday I read your book during my neighborhood walk. (Reading books is part of my daily hourlong walking exercise).
I’ve posted to FB about your informative book.
I became aware of THE GUIDE TO INTERNET DEFAMATION AND WEBSITE REMOVAL (2019) while checking your webpage after listening to the CNS “Sidebar” podcast on the Right to Be Forgotten the other day. I did tweet about the RTBF podcast.
I immediately ordered your book from Amazon, and it was delivered on Thursday.
I like your book. All the more so, given that it’s concise, well-written, and addresses my favorite topic as a media law scholar.
I’m teaching Digital Freedom as well as a general Communication Law course. Defamation law has been my primary speciality for years.
I’d like to know if you’re considering revising and updating your book sooner or later.
Internet defamation law is changing all the time, and it’s not easy to keep up with it. Yes, as you point out cogently in your book.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 7, 2021I am the owner of a small business, for the past 10 years, and the internet has changed how we do business. One negative review can go viral quicker than personal word-of-mouth which in turn can affect business. Knowing how to handle that and when or if legal steps need to be taken is helpful. This book helps you work through those steps.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 7, 2023Good read but needed more information.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 8, 2020This book provides a wealth of useful information and presents it in a very straightforward and readable way. It was very helpful to learn and understand the problem, get the facts and options, and provide ways forward.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2019I took a CLE course with Mr. Sternberg as the instructor. His presentation on internet defamation was great, and his book will be a reference book on my shelf. It’s an easy read and a quick way to learn the subject.

- Reviewed in the United States on September 5, 2019Although I did not read the entire book, I did read the chapters that applied to my son. Very easy read and helps me understand the course of action my lawyer is taking.
