TESTING IN NY HELEN KELLER CENTER

As part of our trip to the foundations and organizations for support of blind and deafblind people in the United States and Canada, we had a meeting with representatives of the Helen Keller National Center in New York. The participants in this remarkable meeting were Deborah Harlin (Director of Information Research and Professional Development), Kathy Anello (Coordinator of the Interpreting Department) and Laura Rocchio (Director of Direct Services). The event was held in a very warm and friendly atmosphere. The result of the meeting was a great interest in the "Braille Glove" device, and this summer we plan to conduct a large test with the participation of deafblind people at the base of the Heller Keller center

MEETING WITH THE MAYOR OF FUKUOKA MR. SOICHIRO TAKASHIMA

We continue to share the news about our trip to Japan. It is worth saying that the trip was organized with the support of the Government of Japan, and when on arrival we were surrounded by care and attention not only by the organizers, but also by the Mayor of Fukuoka, Soichiro Takashima. He did not miss a single day of the event and was very friendly and open-minded in his communication.

PRESENTATION ON 4YFN MOBILE WORLD CONGRESS

On February 28 we made a presentation in Fira Montjuïc on the Pitching sessions Digital Health & Wellness Summit 2018 under the 4YFN Mobile World Congress. We have presented to an audience our device — the first and the only device in the world to replace hearing and voice to deaf-blind people — the Braille Glove. And, we even succeeded in conducting a little experiment to show to the audience what it is to be a deaf-blind and we also showed the Glove in operation. After our presentation, each of the investors expressed his opinion and asked his questions. Among all of the comments, we got words of support and interest in the device. It was a great pleasure to be thanked for our work and to hear «Wow!» from Bleddyn Rees from the European Connected Health Alliance.

PRESENTATION  AT TOYOTA STARTUP AWARDS

Recently we were lucky to be a part of Toyota Startups Awards. The most outstanding and unique startups developing Mobility For All gathered here! Needless to say, that it was highly valuable time for our team: we met many like-minded people who work at the same field, we exchanged ideas, we got inspired! Thank to Toyota TOYOTA and ISDI Accelerator ISDI for such an opportunity and great organisation! It is so cool that such a large company as Toyota is seriously engaged in such an important issue as a mobility! A great example for big companies. The ability to do this is not just a social direction, but a mission and a concept of their business.
