Get ready to start seeing more digital screens at your local drugstore or supermarket.

Cooler Screens, a startup that replaces refrigerator and freezer doors with digital displays that showcase product inventory interspersed with ads, is officially moving beyond an initial debut in the Chicago area (as well as a few pilot locations in other cities) to a nationwide rollout. The company has doubled its initial number of screens from around 50 Walgreens to more than 100 stores in major cities across the United States with plans to add hundreds more in the coming weeks.
