“With more than two million customers consistently using the Regions mobile app, we know they’re looking for a seamless experience, whether they’re online or on their mobile device,” said Andy Hernandez, Chief Digital Officer for Regions. “This latest update lets them access the same budgeting and planning tools available in online banking so they can aggregate accounts, build budgets and view spending trends from their mobile device or tablet.”
Regions customers can view accounts from other financial institutions, analyze transactions, monitor cash flow and set goals to save or pay off debt – all from the palm of their hand.
Additionally, customers can:
- Create custom tags for transaction
- Add memos to find & track transactions across all accounts
- Receive an alert when approaching or exceeding a set budget
To find these tools in the mobile app, simply select “Budget and Planning Tools” from the main menu. Customers who have used the tools in online banking will see their existing budgets and goals in the app. Customers new to the tools will be prompted to “Get Started” building their budgeting and savings goals.
