We topped off! We achieved a major milestone in Bowling Green, KY, completing the initial construction of the first ever purpose-built plant featuring O-I's all-new proprietary MAGMA technology. MAGMA technology is revolutionary, bringing flexibility and modularity to glass production. Employees, executives, and construction workers gathered to mark this important moment when the steel beam was hoisted atop the new building. Glass is never trash, and at O-I, we understand that building #glassrecycling ecosystems takes collaboration and partnerships across the value chain. O-I is teaming up with Anheuser-Busch Recycle Colorado Keep America Beautiful® and the Denver Broncos Football Club to increase glass recycling in Colorado. In late 2023, Anheuser-Busch launched the Denver Series of its National Recycling League. The program incentivizes people to recycle glass containers in bins in Denver area communities. Collected glass is then processed and sent to O-I plants in Colorado, where they're transformed into new glass containers. Glass is 100% and infinitely recyclable, and by using and recycling glass, these residents are now contributing to a #circulareconomy. Revino and O-I Packaging Solutions LLC, a specialty team within O-I, are teaming up to provide over 30 Oregon wineries with returnable, refillable glass bottles. The wine bottles can be reused at least 25 times, on average, before being retired, recycled, and turned into new glass packaging. Glass, which is 100% and infinitely recyclable, is already the most sustainable packaging option. With this new partnership, the environmental impact and carbon footprint glass will be even lower. This partnership highlights the commitment to sustainability in the wine industry.
