QVC Italy is committed to spreading a culture of sustainability across our organization through both direct and educational actions, all while inspiring positive change in our communities. In celebration of Earth Day 2024, QVC Italy has committed to donating one tree for each team member in Tanzania (totaling about 500 plants)! 🌳 Water is a limited resource in this country with a deforestation rate of 1.5% per year and, in collaboration with Zero CO2, tree planting in the Arusha region contributes to the reforestation of the country and preserves the soil for the Masai communities to sustain their livelihood. The project collaborates with women from the local community and teaches them how to care for the newly planted trees.
