We believe in the power of STEM and skilled trades to address today’s challenges and prepare society for the future. To equip new generations in these fields, we partner with organizations like FIRST to provide education support that inspires innovation in new generations. Recently, the FIRST CEO Christopher Moore, and FIRST Relations Manager, Abbie Desrosiers, visited our Texas Operations site to see first-hand how new and emerging technologies and innovation help make our plants safer and create the industry jobs of the future.

The results from Dow’s 2025 Annual Meeting of Stockholders are now available. Following the meeting, our Board of Directors re-elected Richard K. Davis to serve as independent lead director and approved a quarterly dividend of 70 cents per share. We're also pleased to welcome Rebecca Liebert as a member of our Board of Directors. Mr. Davis joined Dow’s Board in May 2015 and has served as independent lead director since April 2021. Ms. Liebert brings deep industry expertise in leading large organizations and a proven track record of driving large-scale operational excellence. #Wistjedat onze tweedejaars JPP-studenten hun badges weer hebben geactiveerd na waardevolle ervaringen bij zes soortgelijke bedrijven in de industrie? ✅ Onze studenten begonnen hun avontuur bij de receptie van het Diamond Center, waar ze hun badges opnieuw activeerden. Daarna sprongen ze op hun fietsen en gingen op weg naar Amines. ✅ Tijdens hun stages bij zes verschillende bedrijven kregen ze een uniek inzicht in ploegendiensten. Hoewel ze genoten van meer vrije tijd door de week, moesten ze soms hun weekendplannen aanpassen vanwege werkverplichtingen. ✅ De studenten ontdekten dat ze de "losse" proceskennis die ze op school en in het JPP-programma hadden geleerd, nu konden verbinden. Zo hebben ze diepgaande kennis opgedaan van het gehele proces en de werking van de apparatuur. Gedurende de 10-weekse stage kregen ze een duidelijk beeld van de rol van een procesoperator. Water is an important element of everyday life. In regions where water scarcity is a growing topic of conversation, creative thinking is needed to reduce the amount of water that Dow facilities take from local rivers. In Böhlen, Germany, our team is constructing three large basins to keep rainwater on site and begin treating it for reuse later. By mimicking natural wetlands, the water will be cleaned to such a high quality that it will be used as a source in the main water treatment unit. Reeds will be planted this May and will be allowed to grow over the summer. From spring onwards, each basin can then hold 31,000 bathtubs full of water at once during rainfall and begin the cleaning process.
