From setback to comeback: Turning recovery into a gateway for limitless possibilities. Meet Robert Masson MD, FACS FAANS , a renowned spine surgeon whose approach to medical care transcends conventional boundaries. A lifelong athlete, Dr. Masson’s philosophy is rooted in a belief that spine surgery should be about empowering individuals to return to their desired lifestyles, focusing on functionality, recovery, and proactive lifestyle management rather than mere disease control. Instead, he champions finding strategic, habit-based solutions that promote active recovery. His dedication is also evident in his role as the founder of eXeX , where he integrates AI and mixed reality to enhance surgical outcomes. Our eXeX team has been enjoying remote collaboration using Apple Vision Pro spatial beta. Video is sped up for time but you can see how it can feel so real. Like my coworkers are in the room with me reviewing notes and content as opposed to us all being across the country. We can go over documents together, walk around and point at things, review videos together, and even high five. Spatial collaboration is one of my favorite features of the AVP.

In today's constantly evolving healthcare landscape, how can we as leaders stay ahead? Continuous Learning, Adaptation, and Advocacy The intersection between technology and healthcare is more vibrant than ever. Telemedicine, AI diagnostics, and wearable health tech are not just buzzwords but are revolutionizing patient care. As someone deeply entrenched in the world of spinecare and wellness, I've seen firsthand how these innovations can transform lives. But embracing new technologies also means facing challenges head-on - from ensuring equitable access to navigating ethical considerations. So, what's the way forward? It starts with us - healthcare professionals and leaders - continuously learning, adapting, and advocating for policies that bridge the gap between innovation and accessibility. By doing so, we're not just treating conditions; we're redefining the future of health and wellness for all. How do you see technology shaping the future of your practice or healthcare in general? 👉Shown in the picture is the use of a mixed reality headset incorporating eXeX technology to revolutionize workflow in the operating room #HealthcareInnovation #FutureOfMedicine #LeadershipInHealthcare #eXeX #workflow #technology #Innovation #BestAdvice #Ai
