💡 Last Friday, we kicked off an exciting challenge for six talented student teams from the diverse fields of the University of Galway: a Hackathon to generate ideas on most effective approaches to attract and retain top talent in today’s competitive market. The judges—Professor Becky Whay (Deputy President and Registrar - University of Galway), Eilish O'Sullivan (HR Director, Medtronic), Evan Cawley (Talent Acquisition Specialist, Medtronic), and Dr Natalie Walsh (Ph.D) (Director of Entrepreneurial Development, IdeasLab)—had the tough job of selecting the winners. And they chose Team Bloom, the champions of this year's Medtronic Hackathon with IdeasLab! Ülkemizde, güncel tıbbi yaklaşımların en yüksek kalitede ve şeffaf biçimde uygulanması için çalışan Koç Üniversitesi Hastanesi ile robotik asiste cerrahi alanında önemli bir iş birliğine imza attık. Bu iş birliği kapsamında, Medtronic robotik asiste cerrahi sistemini Türkiye’de ilk kez Koç Üniversitesi Hastanesi’ne konumlarken, aynı zamanda eğitim anlaşması imzalayarak birlikte ileri düzey robotik asiste cerrahi eğitimlerinin temellerini attık. Eğitimler, RMK AIMES ’in (Rahmi M. Koç Girişimsel Tıp, Eğitim ve Simülasyon Akademisi) güçlü altyapısından faydalanılarak, anatomik örnekler ve simülasyonlarla desteklenecek şekilde tasarlandı. İmza töreninde Avrasya Bölge Başkanımız Majid Kaddoumi, Türkiye, Rusya, Orta Doğu, Orta Asya Bölge Başkanımız Ayhan Ozturk ve Türkiye, İran ve Orta Asya Genel Müdürümüz Simona M. Brana hazır bulundu.
