ReElement will be attending the inaugural The Magnetics Show North America, an industry conference in Pasadena, CA focused on magnetics technologies. Our company president, Ben Wrightsman, and chief commercial officer, Chris Moorman will be presenting on how innovation in rare earth refining technologies like chromatographic separation and purification can help de-risk and de-centralize current monopolies in rare earth supply and refining to lower costs and improve sustainability in the global magnet supply chain.

CNN recently featured ReElement Technologies CEO and co-founder, Mark Jensen, to discuss investment opportunities in the lithium supply chain. Statista predicts global lithium demand to reach 3.8 million tons annually by 2035. To meet this growing demand, efficient and environmentally friendly methods for lithium refining are crucial. ReElement Technologies offers a solution with its chromatographic separation and purification technology, currently deployed in the US and expanding overseas to support regional advanced manufacturing hubs. "The risks that come with a market that is coming into its own, such as lithium, are numerous but not unique, and most originate from buying into companies that overpromise and underdeliver. If one can maintain realistic expectations and expect there will be inevitable commodity cycles, they will have staying power in the lithium market." - Mark Jensen, CEO, ReElement Technologies Read the full story on CNN Underscored to learn more about ReElement Technologies' role in the lithium supply chain: https://lnkd.in/gcK5dKqu

Expanding lithium recovery from LFP black mass The scene below shows our innovative LFP-based lithium recovery process in action. We have double-stacked column number 3 to expand the spatial area for lithium separation and purification. In other words, by adding another processing unit, we can now recover even more high-purity lithium from LFP black mass. The scalability of our technology is the key to this innovation. We can easily adjust the number of processing columns based on the amount of raw materials available, ensuring efficient and environmentally friendly lithium recovery.

High-tech commercial and industrial products are manufactured with rare earth elements usually obtained from foreign countries, notably China.   An Indiana-based company is looking to return production of these materials to the U.S. using technology created in Purdue University College of Engineering.   ReElement Technologies today signed an exclusive license to use patented technologies created by Linda Wang, the Norman and Jane Li Professor of Chemical Engineering in Davidson School of Chemical Engineering. These innovations use significantly less power and water and fewer hazardous chemical while generating near zero-waste.   ReElement CEO Mark Jensen said, “ReElement and Purdue technology will ensure that finite resources and associated supply chains are now far more infinite and independent. These are both critical to supporting the advanced energy economy here in the U.S. and globally.”   Wang said, “My students and I are thrilled that ReElement Technologies is bringing this method to separate and purify rare earth and battery elements to the market. Its impact will be felt not only by industry but by people who care about the environment.”   ReElement is constructing its first commercial facility in Marion; production of rare earth elements and the company’s first sales are anticipated to begin in late June 2024.
