the story
In a world overtaken by darkness and despair, a beacon of hope is rising. Many centuries ago on our planet Sōlis, our star grew dim, humanity now lives in great neon cities, and every part of daily life is provided through the wonders of technology. The food we eat, and places we go are all sterile and devoid of nature. Every day is lit with a soft amber glow by day and a purple hue of neon by night. If we look up from our HoloComs we only see the loneliness and human desire for more. This world has become unbearable and we long for a day when everything will change.
Keeping a low profile will allow you to disappear and stay away from the all-powerful Primary, a planet government that holds the monopoly of force. Get out of line and you will be spending a few sols in one of the many orbiting moons.
The Primaries’ own Scitech researchers seem to create the problems only to have the perfect solution a short time later after we all suffer. We always knew they caused the star to dim. And now it only rains every few sols.
After the zenith war, nothing has been the same, The days are hotter and the nights cooler seems like they are getting worse. Rumors of clans and entire blocks of the city going underground to escape the scorching heat. Above ground, all of the windows and doors are sealed to block out the daily heatwave. Don’t let the dim light fool you, it can get over 100 in the shade of a building within a few minutes. Only the day walkers, the lost and abandoned who cannot get inside walk from building to building looking for solace. Their massive hoods and heat shielding protect them as they wonder.
One day I overheard that the NovaTerra Believers were once again meeting. Maybe even offering flights to the prophesied utopia called Earth Illuminated. A place that is prepared for all of humanity, a place symbiotic with nature and the spirit of creation.
What you have found here offers an escape, a reminder of what is important and what we may have lost or will if we allow nature, wonder, and creation to be forgotten or replaced with tech.

Designed for interstellar space travel at light speed, the ReGenesis promises a seamless experience where your trip will feel like mere minutes. Allow us to introduce you to our new mission, titled “New Dawn.”
Upon stepping aboard the ReGenesis, you’ll be greeted by our transport pilot AI, E.D.E.N. Crafted by the Director of Flight Intelligence and a founding member of the original NovaTerra Project team, E.D.E.N.’s Creator comes from an exceptional family initially slated for the mission. However, in a last-minute decision to ensure the mission’s success, it was decided that she and her children would remain behind while her husband was chosen to be the solo mission pilot.
The ship itself boasts the latest advancements in star travel technologies, constructed by the renowned Superterrestrial Automated Technologies, a leading manufacturer in interstellar travel systems.
