A world-first drug trial that allowed healthy participants to take microdoses of LSD in their own homes found unambiguous upticks in happiness, social connectivity, creativity, wellness and energy.
The trial, which was run with 80 people in New Zealand last year by biotech start-up MindBio Therapeutics and researchers from the University of Auckland, paves the way for a similar approach to treating depression, says chief executive MindBio Justin Hanka.
