Through technology, GTL is transforming correctional facilities into rehabilitative environments by improving the wellness and abilities of incarcerated individuals and providing resources to ensure success for returning citizens.

What are GTL Reentry Services?

GTL’s Reentry Services are designed to start the path for successful return to society by implementing and augmenting programs in correctional facilities that are transformative for both the incarcerated population and correctional staff. GTL’s Reentry Services are also designed to assist people under supervision in overcoming the obstacles and barriers they face when returning to society. By connecting them to the people and resources they need, we hope to increase successful outcomes and reduce the recidivism rate. Support groups, vocational training, second chance employers, and more are available to help better the circumstances of returning citizens.

  • GTL Education provides holistic, evidence-based programming to incarcerated individuals to transform incarceration from punitive to positive in the areas of education, vocational training, substance abuse treatment, life and transitional skills, mental health treatment, cognitive behavioral therapy, job skills/job readiness, financial literacy, business leadership and management, and entrepreneurship.
  • GTL Resources connects returning citizens with necessary training, support groups, and programs in the community post-release.
  • GTL is developing additional applications to assist with the transition from incarceration to community and in removing barriers for returning citizens by connecting them with second chance employers and assistance with effective community supervision.

Why GTL Reentry?

  • We offer resources focused on the reduction of recidivism while improving the lives of returning citizens and all of society.
  • We partner with the world’s best content providers to give the most choices for educational programs.
  • We scale our offerings to fit your situation and augment your team.
  • We do not “replace” your staff with technology; we implement technologies that increase efficiency.
  • We offer programs that are easy to implement and which scale with you over time.

GTL is a committed partner to our incarcerated individuals we serve, not only while they are serving their time but also as they reenter society. Reentry begins the moment someone sets foot in a facility and continues long after release. We will be there every step of the way.

GTL has over three decades of experience and relationships to inform our knowledge and shape the creation of solutions to support returning citizens on their path home. We deploy our Reentry Solutions on intuitive technology devices that are easy to use and accessible by everyone.

GTL’s core mission has always been to help incarcerated individuals maintain their support network through communication and connection. Developing skills, making contacts, and accessing resources useful for reentry is simply an extension of that mission. We will continue to transform the corrections environment and bridge the gap between incarceration and reentry.

GTL Education: Finding the Right Solution

The combination of proven technology and our Learning Management System (LMS) provides a secure, safe mechanism where instruction can take place inside a correctional environment and beyond.

As part of our Reentry Solutions, GTL offers programs and resources in categories such as: Vocational Training, Career Planning and Development, Job Readiness and Placement, Entrepreneurship, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Substance Abuse Treatment, Mental Health Treatment, Business Law & Marketing, Business Leadership & Management, Mentoring, Transitional Skills, Transitional Housing, Parenting and Life Skills, and Financial Wellness and Literacy.

By connecting them to the people and resources they need, we hope to increase successful outcomes and reduce the recidivism rate. Support groups, vocational training, potential employers, and more are available to help better the circumstances of returning citizens.

GTL Resources

GTL recognizes that many returning citizens face barriers to success and need access to education, employment, health, housing, legal assistance, life skills, and other essential resources in order to reinvent themselves and turn their lives around.

To help combat issues faced by returning citizens during this worrying time, we put together a list of organizations that can help ease the transition from incarceration to reentry. If you or your loved one has been recently released or is currently preparing for release, please keep these organizations in mind to make the transition a little less intimidating.
