Conifex Timber (CFF) reported results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2022. 

Chairman of the Board Ken Shields sat down with Folake Ekwubiri to highlight the results.

Select Q1, 2022 financial highlights

  • Operating income: $17.1 million
  • Net income: $11.4 million
  • EBITDA from continuing operations: 20.1 million

Conifex’s primary business includes timber harvesting, reforestation, forest management, sawmilling logs into lumber and wood chips, and value-added lumber finishing and distribution. Conifex’s lumber products are sold in the United States, Canadian and Japanese markets.

Conifex also produces bioenergy at its power generation facility at Mackenzie, BC.
