Psyched Wellness (PSYC) has announced that an expert panel has concluded that Psyched’s proprietary extract of AME-1 is Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS).

GRAS certification allows Psyched to legally sell its AME-1 products in the United States.

David Shisel, Chief Operating Officer Psyched Wellness sat down with Shoran Devi to discuss the news.

“Today, we mark the most significant milestone in our company’s development, and I am very proud of our team and partners for the advancement of this innovative proprietary extract. The Amanita Muscaria mushroom has incredible healing and medicinal powers, and for the first time in modern history, Psyched Wellness has managed to produce a natural extract from this unique mushroom, that is scientifically proven to be safe for human consumption.”

The evidence was collected from recent toxicology studies confirming that AME-1 does not induce any organ-system toxicity at the proposed serving size, as well as scientific evidence demonstrating that the substance is safe under the conditions of the intended use.

Psyched Wellness is a health supplements company dedicated to the distribution of mushroom-derived products and associated consumer packaged goods.

Psyched Wellness (PSYC) is up 11.11 per cent on the day, trading at C$0.10 per share at 10:45 am EST.
